What to know

JMobile Studio 1.90 has JM4Web feature that allow you to create a "web version" of project pages.

Almost all web browsers today have cache functionality to speed up internet navigation on pages already visited,
this useful feature become a little issue while developing web pages.

What to do

Every time a new web page has been included or edited into JMobile project,
we must perform a Download to Target action to download changes into panel.

Connecting with a web browser to the panel IP address can result in the visualization of cached pages instead of the latest downloaded pages.
To avoid this behavior you can:

  • as first choice: disable cache of your web browser
  • force web page refresh, by-passing browser cache

Procedure to "force refresh" depends on browser used:

  • Internet Explorer: use of combination of CTRL+F5
  • Mozilla Firefox: use of combination of CTRL+F5, or CTRL+R or SHIFT+R
  • Google Chrome: use of combination of CTRL+F5 CTRL or SHIFT+F5
  • Safari: use of combination of SHIFT+"Browser button".

Internet Explorer 9 users can also clear up cache of a specified website, selecting F12 to access Developer Tools, than selecting into Cache > "Clear Browser cache for this domain" and "Clear cookies for this domain".
