In this interview, Nicla Gallenda, Growth & Innovation Manager at Tecnorobot, explains how the company rethought its machine architecture by eliminating the industrial PC and introducing a new platform based on EXOR technologies. The adoption of eX200 Web Panels and JMobile made it possible to retain advanced functionalities such as SQL database management and OPC UA communication while improving ease of use, reliability and cybersecurity.
However, the project went beyond the machine architecture. Thanks to the Corvina Platform, Tecnorobot also introduced industrial connectivity and secure remote access, laying the foundations for future developments including analytics, artificial intelligence and new digital services.
