Position Purpose

The Logistics Clerk ensures the accurate and timely management of goods shipments to customers and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company procedures and transport regulations. The role works in close coordination with internal departments and carriers to maintain an orderly and efficient logistics flow, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.

 

Responsibilities

  1. WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS
  • Handling and movement of packages for shipment preparation.
  • Use of the management system (ERP/WMS) to monitor stock levels and shipment lists for customers or suppliers.
  • Verification and accurate completion of transport documentation (delivery notes, waybills, etc.).
  • Prompt reporting of any warehouse anomalies or discrepancies.
  • Support for periodic inventory activities, ensuring stock accuracy through targeted checks, reconciliations, and verification of discrepancies, working closely with different company functions to ensure warehouse data alignment.
  1. SHIPMENT COORDINATION
  • Monitoring the status of shipments.
  • Acting as a point of contact with carriers for the management of pickups and deliveries.
  • Supporting production and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries to customers and suppliers.
  • Contributing to the improvement of logistics processes through a precision-driven approach focused on error reduction.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge of major ERP/WMS systems for inventory management.
  • Knowledge of logistics procedures (Incoterms, material handling within ERP systems, etc.) and transport documentation (delivery notes, etc.).
  • Ability to handle packages and properly prepare shipments.
  • Use of IT tools to ensure compliance with logistics workflows.
  • Knowledge of the English language.
  • Plus: knowledge of Sage software.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team, fostering collaboration and operational efficiency.
  • Accuracy and reliability in managing daily tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills: ability to quickly identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
