Project highlights
Tecnorobot developed a new architecture in collaboration with Exor International and Corvina, eliminating the industrial PC and introducing advanced panels with integrated connectivity.
This made it possible to maintain advanced functionality while simplifying overall system management.
The result is a machine that is easier to manage, safer, and ready for future developments.
Tecnorobot’s Challenge
Evolving beyond the limits of traditional architecture
With the evolution of Industry 4.0 technologies and paradigms, Tecnorobot found itself needing to rethink how its machines were designed and managed.
The traditional architecture based on industrial PCs was beginning to show its limitations in terms of complexity, maintenance, integration, and cybersecurity. At the same time, there was a growing need to integrate advanced features such as SQL and OPC UA while maintaining operational simplicity and control.
The goal was therefore to develop a new architecture that was more modern, secure, and flexible, capable of supporting the future evolution of machines without increasing the overall complexity of the system.
