Position Purpose
The Data Analyst/BI Specialist is responsible for collecting, integrating, modeling, and leveraging data from company systems (MES, ERP, quality and production systems), transforming it into useful information to support decision-making and improve operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Leading sales and business development in the designated region.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs related to production, quality, efficiency, and operational performance.

Collaborate with the MES application development team to define metrics and translate operational needs into data models and structured reporting.

Implement and optimize Power BI data models using DAX, modeling best practices, and performance tuning strategies.

Manage report refresh and publishing processes, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.

Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for ingesting and transforming data from MES, SQL databases, and corporate APIs.

Ensure the quality, consistency, and traceability of data used in decision-making processes.

Monitor and support data loading processes and Business Intelligence services, identifying and resolving any anomalies.

Draft technical and functional documentation and provide training support to end users.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
At least 3 years of experience in the role and in the specific context required.
Business Intelligence and Reporting

Excellent knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Experience designing management and operational dashboards.

Advanced knowledge of the DAX language.

Experience in data modeling (star schema, dimensions, facts).

Experience in performance optimization and incremental refresh management.
Data Integration and Database

Experience developing ETL/ELT processes.
-
Knowledge of Apache NiFi or equivalent data integration tools.
-
Good knowledge of SQL Server and the SQL language.

Experience integrating data from MES and REST API services.
Monitoring and Automation

Knowledge of automation processes and refresh scheduling.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
Preferred factors:

Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Knowledge of production processes, quality, OEE, and factory KPIs.

Experience with MES systems.

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

Experience in multinational and multi-site environments.
